Summit Community Care Clinic is a non-profit clinic for the medically underserved residents of Summit County, Colorado and surrounding areas. By donating to the clinic, you are ensuring health care services are available, regardless of ability to pay, and investing in the healthy future of our communities.
We are grateful for generous support from local government including Summit County Government and the Towns of Breckenridge, Frisco, Dillon and Silverthorne, all of which contribute to the Care Clinic’s general operating fund. Summit County Government also provides in-kind office space in the Medical Office Building and access to program specific funding. State of Colorado funds are provided through the Tobacco Tax and grant programs for a variety of health services, as well as Title X family planning services. As a Federally Qualified Health Center, we receive annual funding through the Health Resources and Services Administration.
Patient fees include insurance payments and charges for services provided on the sliding fee scale. Our collection rate is over 80%, which is significantly higher than a for-profit primary care office. As a safety net clinic, we make sure that our services are accessible to all.
We are grateful for funding from many private foundations and local partners, including but not limited to The Summit Foundation, Caring for Colorado Foundation, The Colorado Health Foundation, Colorado Community Health Network, The Denver Foundation, Rocky Mountain Health Foundation, Rocky Mountain Health Maintenance Organization, Delta Dental Foundation, Breckenridge Grand Vacations, Building Hope Summit, Family and Intercultural Resource Center, Freeport-McMoRan, Pinnacle Gives, Vail EpicPromise, Katz Amsterdam, Summit County Seniors, Summit County Rotary Club, and many, many others.
Our donors are critical to our mission of providing care to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. None of our neighbors or their children should ever have to go without healthcare. Cash, check, credit card or stock contributions can be made at any time to support general operating or designated funds.
We can help if you are interested in a way to redirect your taxes to benefit your family as well as your community and our mission. Bequests through wills or trusts, life insurance, or real estate allow future and extended support to the Care Clinic. For more information call our Development Director at 970-423-8839.
