Reproductive Health
Care Clinic has an extensive variety of reproductive health services including education, screening and treatment regarding sexually transmitted infections for both sexes. It is important to note that anyone regardless of income and residency can come to the Clinic for reproductive health services. All fees for reproductive health are determined by a sliding fee scale based on patients' income.
Well Women Exams
All women should get periodic health examinations, and the clinic provides these on a sliding fee scale based on income. During your exam you can expect to have your family and personal medical history reviewed, receive education and counseling on a variety of health topics, receive a thorough physical exam, appropriate laboratory testing and be provided with a contraceptive method, if appropriate.
Men's Reproductive Services
Men are encouraged to visit Care Clinic for reproductive health services. During your visit you can expect to have your family and personal medical history reviewed, get a physical exam, appropriate laboratory testing and receive information on a variety of health topics including contraceptive education and counseling.
Contraceptive Methods Available at the Clinic
Based on your health history and personal choice, you and your health care provider will formulate an individualized contraceptive plan. Contraceptive methods include:
- Oral Contraceptive Pills
- Depo Provera
- Nuva Ring
- Diaphragm
- Condoms
- IUD (Mirena and Paraguard)
- Implanon
Care Clinic also has some funding for permanent sterilizations for both men and women. If you are interested in this method, please discuss please discuss this with your health care provider at the time of your visit.
Emergency Contraception
Care Clinic has emergency contraception available for women who have had unprotected sex or contraceptive failure in the last 120 hours, or up to 5 days to help stop unintended pregnancies. If you feel you need emergency contraception, please visit during our regular business hours. Always remember that the sooner the pill is taken the more effective it is, so please do not hesitate to visit the clinic for this option!
Women's Wellness Connection (WWC)
WWC is a program that helps women who live in Colorado get free breast and cervical screening. Care Clinic is one of 120 local healthcare providers in the state of Colorado that provides free screenings for women who:
- Live in Colorado
- Are legal residents of the United States
- Are 40 - 64 years old
- Have limited or no health insurance to pay for these screenings
- Have not had a Pap test or mammogram in the last 12 months
- Meet income requirements

Breast Health and Screening Mammograms
Care Clinic has been fortunate to receive grant funding from Susan G. Komen For the Cure Denver Affiliate to provide free breast health education and screening mammograms to qualifying women. For further information contact Jenniffer Gonzalez at 970-668-4057.
Gardasil Vaccine Patient Assistance Program
Gardisil is a vaccine (injection/shot) that helps protect against 4 types of Human Papillomavirus (HPV): 2 types cause 70% of cervical cancer cases and 2 more types that cause 90% of genital wart cases. Gardisil is for girls and young women ages 9-26. Care Clinic offers Gardisil to qualifying patients who:
- Are legal residents of the United States
- Are 19-26 years old
- Have limited or no health insurance
- Meet income requirements
