About Summit Community Care Clinic
Mission Statement:
The mission of the Summit Community Care Clinic is to provide primary and preventative health care to low income, uninsured, and under-insured people who live or work in Summit County at a cost they can afford.
Management Commitment:
At the Community Care Clinic we honor staff by maintaining a work-place culture based on 4 commitments:
- Open/Clear Communication: Managers maintain an open-door policy. Staff is offered frequent encouragement, feedback, and evaluation. All important personnel decisions are put in writing and shared with staff.
- Mutual Accountability: Staff is accountable to meeting clinic policies and mission. Management is accountable to following through with decisions and ensuring a fair work environment. Management will reward positive behavior, and address problematic behavior with clarity, directness, and compassion.
- Commitment to Patients: Providing access to high quality, friendly, and accessible patient services is our top priority. Managers will minimize activities that distract from patient services. Management will continually monitor and promote patient satisfaction.
- Staff Satisfaction & Development: Care Clinic benefits from retaining high quality and happy staff. This is accomplished by promoting education and advancement, addressing staff grievances, and curtailing behavior that creates a hostile or unfriendly environment.
Supervisors and managers ensure that these commitments are met with their staff. The Executive Director ensures that these commitments are met with managers and works with managers to ensure they are met on a clinic-wide basis.
