See who Funds the Care Clinic

Funding for the Clinic’s operations comes from a variety of sources, including:

State and Local Government – Summit County Government provides in kind office space in the Medical Office Building in Frisco. The county also contributes to our general operating fund. The State of Colorado offers support from Tobacco tax funding and competitive grant programs. The Federal Government also provides funds for the operations of our Title X family planning services.

Patient Fees – Our patient fees comprise a significant part of our budget. Charges for services are on a sliding scale based on patient’s income. Our collection rate is over 80% which is significantly higher than a for profit primary care office.

Foundations – We receive funding from a number of private foundations including: The Summit Foundation, Caring for Colorado Foundation, Colorado Health Foundation, COPIC Foundation, El Pomar, Colorado Trust, Susan G Komen for the Cure Denver Affiliate, and the Dobbs Family Fund of Summit Foundation.

Donations – The Care Clinic has a long and well deserved reputation for responsible stewardship of charitable gifts. We are honored by the outpouring of generosity from our community and we work hard everyday to make sure that your gifts are used prudently and to deliver our services in the most effective and efficient manner. Our community partners include St. Anthony’s Summit Medical Center, Peak One Surgery Center, Vail Summit Orthopaedics, Summit Country Rotary, Breckenridge Grand Vacations, Vail Resorts EpicPromise,  and numerous other organizations and individuals.
